General

Yes, all Suavinex products are made to the highest EU safety standards and are BPA, lead & phthalate free.

Baby bottles made of polypropylene or polyamide are both plastics that can be recycled. Once the useful life of the products ends, you can deposit them in the authorized places in your community.

At Suavinex we recommend air drying the products, as they are ventilated and allow the products to dry completely.

Sterilization lasts for 24 hours as long as we keep the products inside the sterilizer itself.

We recommend that the Suavinex pacifier case be washed with water and specific detergent. It is not necessary to sterilize it.

The Suavinex SX PRO™ physiological bottle & paci nipple is a high quality 100% silicone nipple designed to work in conjunction with the Bonhomia or Color Essence SX PRO™ bottle range. This revolutionary nipple is designed with respect to the baby's changing oral development and is endorsed by the SEOP (Spanish Society of Pediatric Dentistry). The physiological shape of the nipple helps the tongue remain in the same natural position as when the baby is breast feeding, aiding in correct positioning of the mouth, tongue & jaw.

When they are not going to be used immediately after sterilizing, they should be kept in a clean, dry container with a lid once the teat has dried properly. However, they should not be kept in damp places or at a high temperature.

We recommend that bottles should be replaced every two months and teats every 20 - 25 days.

Bottles & Nipples

Check that you are using a nipple that suits your baby's needs. If your baby chokes when drinking from the bottle, it would be advisable to use a nipple with a slower flow rate. If you use a Dense flow nipple you can change to a Slower flow. Suavinex offers nipples with several flow options that adapt to the needs of babies:

Flows:

  • Adaptable Flow (A): Lets more or less liquid flow depending on the strength with which the baby sucks, just like the mother's nipple. Specifically designed for breastfed babies. 0mo+
  • Slow flow (S): Lets a limited flow of liquid through. Ideal for the first few days of a newborn's life for milk, glucose or water feeds. 0m+
  • Medium Flow (M): Lets all types of medium-density liquids through. Ideal for milk, juice and purees. 3m+
  • Dense Flow (L): Lets thick liquids flow thanks to its wide opening. 6m+

When you shake the bottle, some contents may come out through the holes in the nipple. To avoid this, use the white cap that comes with your bottle. You must place the cap between the bottle and the nipple. This way, you can shake or transport the bottle without any risk of it spilling out.

Yes, all nipples have an anti-colic valve. This compensates for the difference in air pressure in the bottle, helps prevent the nipple from collapsing, and reduces the risk of the child swallowing air, also known as colic.

Except for the nipples, the rest of the components of the bottle (bottle, lid, glass, thread) can be washed in the dishwasher.

Once sterilization has been carried out and the product is completely dry, it should be stored in a clean, dry and covered container. They should not be stored in humid places and/or at high temperatures.

You can put it in the microwave, but you must keep in mind that there is a risk, due to excessive use, that the material loses its properties, ages and may produce small cracks and even breakage of the material. Remember that polyamide bottles ( PA) can be heated but not sterilized (to check if your bottle is made of polyamide, look at the bottom of your bottle and check that the initials PA do not appear) Finally, keep in mind that the food is not heated evenly and is necessary to stir the food so that it is at the same temperature.

Pacifiers

You can give it to them from birth.

The designs of Suavinex pacifiers comply with current regulations that prevent them from being swallowed. In the event that the baby puts the pacifier in his mouth, do not panic. All pacifiers have ventilation holes so that the airways are not obstructed. As we indicate in the recommendations for use, try to remove it as gently as possible.

At Suavinex we have 1 type of nipple available. Physiological: flat and symmetrical nipple is always correctly placed in the mouth, exerting minimal pressure on the palate.

Yes, all Suavinex pacifiers have invisible ventilation holes, so that the nipple is soft when the baby sucks. Water can enter through these holes. In the instructions for use that accompany the pacifiers, we indicate that if water does get in, you should place the pacifier with the nipple facing up and press from the end and inwards in order to extract it.

For hygiene and safety reasons, it is advisable to change pacifiers every month and a half or two months. Remove the pacifier if there is any sign of deterioration, even if it occurs before the indicated time has been reached.

Once sterilized and the nipple is completely dry, it should be stored in a clean, dry, covered container. They should not be stored in humid places and/or at high temperatures.

By regulation, pacifiers do not have best before dates.

Pacifier Clips & Cases

No, pacifier clips or cases cannot be sterilized or microwaved. You can wash them with water and specific soap.

No. For safety, the chains of the pacifier clips cannot be lengthened, the baby could put it around the neck and it could be damaged, resulting in danger.

Pacifier clips are not suction accessories and are not intended to be placed in the mouth. Despite this, all pacifier clips have holes to allow ventilation in case the baby puts it in his mouth. As we indicate in the recommendations for use, try to remove it as gently as possible. Please note that the use of the clip must be subject to adult supervision.
